Curved Finger Exercise on Piano

Never put more than one finger on a  key. Now start with your thumb
and play the white keys in sequence.
As you play each note say the following number sequence: one number for each note
 1 – 2 – 3 – 4 – 5- 4 – 3 – 2 – 1  as you play each of those fingers.
Repeat this pattern three times.
Now place your left hand thumb on any white key of your piano or keyboard and repeat the same exercise as above.  Be sure to say the fingers as you did in the first right hand exercise.
Saying the finger numbers reinforces the sequence of the finger numbers in your mind and sets the stage for the next step.  The next step is learning the music note letter names A, B, C, D, E, F and G.
One skill builds on the next skill.
