First Finger Exercises on Piano

Use these first finger exercises on piano to use all black piano keys to get your fingers moving fast as you begin your piano study.




It may seem too simple but these 2 piano exercises will help you begin to CONTROL the movement of fingers number 2 and 3 in the right hand as well as finger numbers 2, 3 and 4 in the left hand.first finger exercises on piano

First Finger Exercises on Piano

Please use ONLY finger numbers two and three in the first finger exercises on piano..  Remember that your right hand index finger is Finger #2, and your right hand middle finger is Finger #3.  Repeat the words written under each note or just say the finger number that you are using at that moment. Play evenly.

Piano Exercises

These piano exercises will introduce the PIANO BLACK KEY three black note group. Use finger numbers 2, 3 and 4 on this exercise. Again, be sure to whisper the finger number as you play and keep an even rhythm.  Even though these are just finger exercises, it is still very important to practice evenly and clearly without rushing through. Use these two exercises daily to warm up your fingers and develop finger independence and strength.

It is actually beneficial to practice these 2 simple exercises on a table top if you do not have access to a piano keyboard.
