Hark the Herald Angels Sing is a Christmas carol which was written in 1739 by Charles Wesley.  This hymn is sung widely across the Christian churches of the world during the Christmas season.  Characterized by a slow and rather majestic melody it has inspired the faithful throughout the ages.
