The first letter of each word belongs to the treble clef space notes. Begin on the bottom line of the treble clef and move upward to the top line. Therefore the bottom line of the treble clef is E, the next line moving upward is G. Next the 3rd line is B, the 4th line is D and the top line is F.
Additionally, the treble clef space notes (see below) are even easier to remember because they spell the word FACE. Space 1 (also the bottom space of the treble clef) is F, space 2 is A, space 3 is C and space 4 is E.
