The first piano performance of the Polonaise in G Minor by Bach in the video below reveals a faster than normal tempo on this Bach Polonaise but I wanted to offer 2 entirely different interpretations of this piece.
After you have listened to this one be sure to scroll down to the next video and listen as well. I feel that the second video most closely represents the musical style of the Baroque period because of the correct indicated phrasing, moderate tempo and little use of pedal. What do you think?
